Mission Statement
The Writing Center contributes in significant ways to Georgetown University’s academic mission. The work of the Writing Center as an academic program of study is built on the foundation of a three-credit course offered every fall semester in the teaching of writing. The Writing Center is designed for and dedicated to students interested in:
Tutors who successfully complete the year receive an honorarium of $250 in recognition of their contributions to the University.
- learning about and teaching writing and
- working with their fellow students to assist their success at Georgetown.
