Professor Mecca Jamilah Sullivan’s novel, BIG GIRL, named BBC Radio Book Club Pick

The department is excited to announce that Professor Mecca Jamilah Sullivan‘s novel, BIG GIRL, has been named a BBC Radio 2 Summer Book Club selection . Released this month in the UK and Commonwealth by Little, Brown/Virago, BIG GIRL joins novels by Ann Patchett, Louise Doughty, and Julie Mae Cohen on the Summer Book Club list, chosen by a panel of library staff across the UK. Sullivan will appear on BBC Radio 2 to discuss the novel later in July.
