The Department is excited to announce that on August 19th, Maureen Corrigan will receive the “John Seigenthaler Legends Award” bestowed by the “Killer Nashville Crime Writers Conference” on “an individual within the publishing industry who has championed First Amendment Rights, exemplified mentorship, supported the new voices of tomorrow and/or has written an influential canon of work.” Past recipients include Joyce Carol Oates and Walter Mosley
