Graduation and Commencement

Students should consider the Graduate School’s website their primary source of information regarding Graduation and Commencement.

Application for Graduation

All students must apply to graduate through the Graduate School in order to be awarded their degrees. Due to Commencement preparations, students planning to graduate in May (the majority of English M.A. students) must complete their applications by February 1. 

Students graduating in August or December must apply by the first business day of the month they wish to graduate.
