English Major Alumnus Ilya Kaminsky’s “Deaf Republic” Latest New Yorker Multimedia Feature

English major alumnus, Ilya Kaminsky (COL ’01) was featured in a recent issue of the New Yorker. In the issue, poems from Ilya’s book, “Deaf Republic” are accompanied by graphics of the sign language used by the townspeople from the titular republic. The issue also includes audio recordings of Ilya reading the featured poems.
