The Washington Post published an article on December 18, 2008 featuring the Pearl Project, a Georgetown journalism seminar led by Barbara Feinman Todd and Asra Nomani, Associate Dean of Journalism.  The Project seeks to solve the murder of the Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl and to finish the story he was writing when he was killed.  The Project is now suing eight federal agencies, including the CIA and the FBI, for the release of records.  The class concluded last spring but the project continues now through the Center for Public Integrity.
