Professor Carolyn Forché Wins 2021 American Book Award from the Before Columbus Foundation

We’re excited to share that University Professor Carolyn Forché has won the 2021 American Book Award. This award is given by the Before Columbus Foundation and will be formally recognized on September 19, 2021.

As the announcement notes, this award is “not bestowed by an industry organization, but rather are a writers’ award given by other writers.” Read more about Prof. Forché’s and the other winners works on the Before Columbus Foundation website.
