English MA Alum, Rin Baker (’25), Wins Constance Coiner Dissertation Award – Working-Class Studies Assoc.

It is with great pleasure that the Department of English celebrates Rin Baker – winner of The Working-Class Studies Association’s 2026 Constance Coiner Dissertation Award. Their project, A Carpenter’s Daughter: Working-Class Autoethnography under the advising of Prof. Sherry Linkon, mapped out a theoretical framework for personal narrative in class analysis with a critical reading of and personal reflection on a memoir by a working-class academic.
Congratulations, Rin!
