Professor Krishnan Awarded $3 Million Mellon Foundation Grant with Dean Dana Williams (Howard) to establish Georgetown Howard Center for Medical Humanities and Health Justice in DC

The department is excited to announce that our affiliate joint faculty Professor Lakshmi Krishnan has been awarded a 3.5 year, $3 million Mellon Foundation Grant with Dean Dana Williams (Howard) to establish the Georgetown Howard Center for Medical Humanities and Health Justice in DC. Krishnan is a cultural historian of medicine, faculty in Medicine, and the founding Director of the Georgetown Medical Humanities Initiative.
