Anh Nguyen (G’19) Wins ACLA Presidential Master’s Prize for MA English Thesis
Congratulations to MA English alumni Anh Nguyen (G’19) who recently won the American Comparative Literature Association‘s (ACLA) Presidential Master’s Prize for their thesis: The Novel of Unlearning: Education, Development, and Interracial Intimacies in Cold War Africa.
The prize will be presented at this year’s ACLA annual meeting in Chicago in March 2020. Many thanks to her mentor, Professor Cóilín Parsons and second reader, Professor Christine So for helping to shape this project over the course of Anh’s time at Georgetown University.
