Georgetown is happy to host the 2023 Joint Seminar of the Association of Departments of English and the Association of Language Departments (new window) in Washington, DC, from 1 to 4 June. Prof. Ricardo Ortiz served as President of the Association of Departments of English in 2022, and has served as campus liaison for the planning and executing of this important gathering of leaders in the fields of literary, cultural and media studies.
