Lena Cowen Orlin Awarded Fall 2018 Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship in Humanities

Professor Lena Cowen Orlin was the recipient of the Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship in Humanities this Fall 2018. Her residency in Italy included in-depth research using civic and legal records to inform a chapter of a larger work on the private life of William Shakespeare: exploring his life as a family man and challenging the traditionally misogynistic stories surrounding his relationship with his wife and daughters.
