New York Times Interviews Maureen Corrigan

Posted in Announcement

The New York Times recently released a piece, Finding the Backdrop of ‘Gatsby’ in Connecticut, Not Long Island, which is part of a series on the people and places of New York. The column focuses on the upcoming documentary, “Gatsby in Connecticut: The Untold Story,” which will include Maureen’s popular course Fitzgerald and His Circle.

Maureen contends that there were various locations which influenced Fitzgerald’s works:

“…at least three landscapes laid on top of each other” in “Gatsby.” St. Paul, Minn., where Fitzgerald had grown up, was one, she said. Westport was another.

Congratulations, Maureen!
