English Undergraduate Council

About Us:

The English Undergraduate Council (EUC) was created in Fall 2018 to facilitate greater communication between the department and its students and allow for the professional development of volunteer student leaders within the English major/minor community. Throughout the year, the EUC hosts social events as well as an annual fall symposium where students can present their research papers in a professional venue to the public and gain presentation experience in academia prior to leaving the Hilltop. For a list of the current Executive Board members see below.

We especially want to thank alumna Hilary Ward for her generous giving which allows events throughout the year to occur.

If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the EUC members listed below or the faculty advisor and Director of Undergraduate Studies, Professor Daniel Shore at english@georgetown.edu.
