Ricardo Ortíz Edits Collection of Essays on Public Humanities published by Post45
A collection of essays that Professor Ricardo Ortíz edited and curated has been published on Post45. The introduction in particular centrally features the work that has been going on in the Department of English at Georgetown University around graduate education and public humanities. He says—referring to this shift in public humanities—that, “We must face what is coming with a renewal of critical analysis, historical knowing, and imaginative recreation. And that will continue to take training, and investigation, and exchange.”
