Elizabeth Velez Featured in Washington Post Story on Generational Feminism
Elizabeth Velez–who is an instructor in the English Department and Women and Gender Studies Program, as well as the director of the SAFF Center for Multicultural Equity and Access (CMEA)–and sophomore English major Madeline Budman were featured in the article, “Betty Friedan to Beyoncé: Today’s generation embraces feminism on its own terms,” published in the Washington Post on January 27. The article also features several other students from Elizabeth Velez’s Feminist Theory course. Congratulations to all!
